White composite panel frame, wood-look entrance detail and curtain wall on the APTIV building in Nilüfer.
At the APTIV office and production building in Nilüfer’s industrial zone, the administrative section was designed as a white volume rising in front of the production hall. It is wrapped in a sharply angled aluminium composite panel frame enclosing dark curtain wall glazing.
Wood-look composite panels add a warm accent at the entrance. Panel joints at the angled corners were resolved with concealed hangers for a clean edge line, and thicker panels on a closely spaced substructure prevent the surface waviness common on industrial buildings.
