Aluminium joinery and glass balustrade systems following the curved balconies of the Biaport residential towers in Özlüce, Nilüfer.
Biaport in Özlüce, Nilüfer is a high-rise residential project known for its curved balcony lines. Its undulating facade was completed with thermally broken aluminium joinery and glass balustrade systems adapted to a different geometry on every floor.
As wind load is decisive on the upper floors, joinery and balustrade elements were sized by structural calculation, using laminated tempered glass and stainless fixings. Frameless balustrades on the terrace floors keep the view open.
Together with the night lighting, the glazed surfaces define the towers’ character on the Özlüce skyline.
