Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you want to know about facade cladding prices, installation times, materials, warranty and maintenance.

General

What is facade cladding and why is it applied?

Facade cladding is covering the outer surface of a building with materials such as metal, composite panels, glass, HPL, ceramic or natural stone. The purpose is not only aesthetic: a well-designed facade protects the building from rain, wind and sun, reduces heat loss and extends the building’s economic life.

Do you work outside Bursa?

Our headquarters is in Osmangazi, Bursa. In addition to all districts of Bursa, we take on projects across the Marmara Region (Istanbul, Kocaeli, Yalova, Balıkesir, Bilecik, Eskişehir). For projects outside the region we plan the survey together in the initial meeting.

Is your work covered by a warranty?

Yes. In addition to the manufacturer’s material warranty, we provide a workmanship warranty for the period stated in the contract. We also offer periodic inspection and maintenance after handover.

Pricing & Quotes

How are facade cladding prices determined?

The main factors behind the price per square metre are the chosen system and material, panel thickness and fire rating, height and complexity of the facade, type of substructure, insulation requirements, scaffolding/platform needs and project duration. That is why a reliable price can only be given after a site survey and measurement.

Are the survey and quotation free?

Yes. Site survey, measurement and preliminary quotation are free in Bursa and the surrounding area. Simply fill in the quote form or call us — our project manager will get back to you within 24 hours.

How long does a facade cladding project take?

Duration depends on the facade area, system type and fabrication workload. For an average residential or office building, shop drawings and fabrication take 2–4 weeks and installation 3–8 weeks. The exact schedule is shared with the quote and made part of the contract.

Curtain Wall Systems

What is the difference between structural silicone and capped curtain walls?

In a structural silicone curtain wall, the glass is bonded to the frame with structural silicone and no profiles are visible from outside, creating a seamless, mirror-like look. In a capped system, the glass is mechanically fixed with external aluminium caps and the vertical and horizontal lines are pronounced. Semi-capped systems have caps on only the vertical or horizontal lines.

How are thermal and acoustic insulation achieved in curtain walls?

With thermally broken profiles, double or triple insulated glazing units with Low-E and solar control coatings, warm-edge spacers and correct EPDM gasket details. For acoustic insulation, laminated acoustic glass is preferred.

Composite Cladding

Are composite panels fire resistant?

The fire behaviour of composite panels depends on the core. Panels with a mineral-filled core rated A2 are considered non-combustible and should be preferred on tall buildings. Class B (FR) panels are also flame-retardant. We do not recommend polyethylene (PE) core panels for facades.

How long does composite cladding last?

A quality PVDF-coated aluminium composite panel installed on a proper substructure with correct details maintains its colour and form for 25–30 years. A simple annual wash keeps the surface looking new for a long time.

Aluminium Joinery Systems

Should I choose aluminium or PVC windows?

Thermally broken aluminium joinery offers slimmer sightlines and larger glass areas, high strength, long life and a wide range of colours. Aluminium stands out for large sliding doors, shop fronts and commercial buildings. We assess your building type and expectations together during the survey to choose the right system.

Exterior Cladding

What is a ventilated facade and what are its benefits?

In a ventilated facade, an air gap is left between the cladding and the insulation layer. Air movement in this cavity removes moisture, reduces heat gain in summer, prevents condensation and extends the life of the insulation. The result: lower energy consumption and a healthier building envelope.

Detailed Design Services

Why are facade shop drawings necessary?

The architectural design shows how the facade will look; shop drawings show how it will be built. Without structural calculations, anchor positions, joint details and fabrication drawings, installations suffer from leaks, thermal bridges, panel distortion and safety risks.
